How to use your Blackberry Smartphone to Browse without BIS Subscription

You can easily browse the internet without necessarily subscribing to one of your network's weekly or Monthly subscription. That is, if you don't have enough money to subscribe to MTN, Glo, Etisalat or Airtel's Blackberry subscription data plan, and you want to use your money to be browse at PayAsYouGo rate, you can learn how to do it here.
Take for instance, you don't have BIS subscription data on your account and you want to check your emails, livescores or an urgent news on the internet with you Blackberry phone using your credit just like other phones does, am glad to tell you that you can do so easily.

Note that, this is not a free browsing cheat. And you should use a third party browser like UC browser or Opera mini and not the Blackberry main browser.

How to Browse the Internet on your Blackberry without a BIS Data Subscription

1. Find "Option" menu from your Blackberry device and click on it to open. It might look different on your own device but it is represented with a spanner like icon.

2. Click on "Advance Options" and under it, you will see TCP/IP. click to open the TCP/IP.

3. Check the "APN Setting Enabled" and the "APN Authentication Enabled" buttons there.

4. Then enter the following information in the spaces provided

For MTN Users
APN: web.gprs.mtnnigeria.net
Username for APN: wap
Password for APN: wap

For Etisalat Users
APN: etisalat
Username for APN: leave it blank
Password for APN: leave it blank

For Airtel Users
APN: internet.ng.airtel.com
Username for APN: internet
Password for APN: internet
